GETAWAY GUIDE - NIAGARA FALLS

Happy Tuesday you guys! I am so excited to share a little getaway post about Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake! JB and I have been more into taking littler weekend/daytrips recently just to get a little change of scenery. I'm sharing this one specifically for all those who are close to Niagara or ones that just want to head out there. I'm sharing with you all the places we ate - because if you know anything about me yet its that I'm a total foodie lol - and the cutest B&B ever! Enjoy :)

The falls were insanely beautiful! We wanted to see them with some ice so we were lucky to get some snow the day before!

This was so cool! This place had trees that were totally covered in ice all over.

Even though it was FREEZING I would totally recommend going during the winter to see them covered in ice. It was so awesome!

We went down underneath the falls too and to see all the water and ice was awesome!

We stopped for a quick lunch at The Flour Mill at The Old Stone Inn. This place was totally had a different look on the outside than what we found on the inside lol! It was so cozy and decorated so cool!

I got the beet soup - ahhhmazing! - and a delicious salad, and of course we had to get the fries ;)

After having lunch we headed over to the Niagara-on-the-Lake area and it is just the cutest town! If you've been to Traverse City it reminds me of a much smaller TC. There are tons of cute stores and restaurants. There are TONS of wineries all over, we didn't get to stop at any though because the next day the town lost power until we had to leave. Theres also tons of charming homes to just walk around and look at. :)

After we checked into our B&B we headed out for dinner at Treadwell a farm to table restaurant. If you eat anywhere there this place is a MUST its so quaint and the food is AMAZING!

JB and I split parsnip soup and their gnocchi - best thing on their menu IMO :) SO DELICIOUS!

Now on to my favorite part The Rogers Harrison House! Honestly I looked at so many B&B's and I am beyond happy I chose this one. This was my first time staying at a B&B and I am already looking forward to going back when its warmer. The owners Susan & Rob are so kind and welcoming, the home is incredibly charming, and the location is perfect.

Like I said this house was so charming and I was in love with it as soon as I walked in. <3

Our room was perfect for us and the best part of the house is all the rooms have their own private bathroom. Plus the rooms had the original doors that still had their skeleton keys which was so cool! When we got back from dinner we started our fire and the room was even more cozy if that could happen :)

The next morning was a treat! We woke up to an incredible meal made by Susan. Honestly they both made this so cute and it made the stay at The Rogers Harris House even better. We started with fresh fruit with homemade granola <3 Next came more homemade yumminess - cranberry orange scones with strawberry compote, baked eggs with the most amazing bacon I've ver had, and we ended with banana bread french toast bites! Everything was amazing and I cannot wait to back in the summer and enjoy breakfast on their patio outside!

All in all if you want to get away for a quick trip or overnight stay I would go check out both places. Its a quiet cozy trip for sure and nice to just enjoy the simplicity, take in nature, and indulge in some delicious food :) Hope you guys enjoyed this guide!
