GETAWAY GUIDE - SEDONA, AZ

Happy Monday guys! I hope all of you had a fantastic weekend, can you believe we had SNOW yesterday?! Like I can't believe it at all but it happened. So needless to say I am loving reliving this post through the photos and am dreaming of the warmth! I'm sharing part one of three of my travel guide on Arizona! Now I did go there last spring as well and fell in love with the area. It was my first time out west and because we loved it so much, this year we decided to do some more exploring and stay a couple of extra days to explore :) Our stay started in Sedona so let's jump in there!

We flew into Phoenix and then drove out to Sedona. Grabbing some lunch was first on our agenda and the place we ate at last year was one of our favorites so we stopped there again! Chocola Tree is such a cute little restaurant and the vibe is so perfect after traveling all day! They have an amazing avocado sprout sandwich and the best refreshing drinks! After that we headed to our hotel Enchantment which is where I wish I was at this moment! If you are staying in Sedona do yourself a favor and just stay here! You're in the canyon of the mountains and its incredible! The views are beautiful and the whole resort has such a cute little town setup. Our room was perfection! We looked right out to the mountains <3 There are also trails to hike right on property which was the perfect post flight pick me up!

As for things to do, theres tons! You can hike, bike, go on tours, go downtown - we didn't but its on the list for next time ;) We were packing in as much as we could and hiked on Enchantment's trails the day before. We were going to trail ride but they are harder trails so we passed and hiked Bear Mountain. It was one of the most awesome hikes I've been on but be sure to give yourself half a day to hike! We had to get back to our hotel so we were booking it literally! We got to a point we thought was the end and then one guy was like no you're only halfway! We made it but practically ran up the last half so that was fun lol! The view at the top as you can see below is outstanding! I would say if you do anything there do that! Last year we didn't stay in Sedona overnight but we day tripped to hike Cathedral Rock which is another awesome hike and seeing the church there is really awesome too! Now for both of those I would recommend going early as the trail gets a but busy and super hot by afternoon.

Now if you stay at Enchantment or can book a spa treatment there definitely do it! It was by far hands down the best massage I've ever had! The spa is super cute with a little restaurant and also has a beautiful pool that you can stay at all day.

For dinner we headed to the cutest spot right on the Oak Creek river - Cress at L'Auberge. This was such a great dinner spot! You are right on the water and the food is fantastic! I loved how it was all ingredients that are local and super fresh!

The next morning we enjoyed breakfast at our hotel's restaurant Che-Ah-Chi which was amazinggggg as well! I had the eggs benedict one day and made my own avo toast there ;P but there housemade granola was out of this world! After this we headed out of Sedona and were on our way to Page but not before a stop at a gorgeous scenic overlook!
